PayWay Payment Integration

The main objective of this integration is to provide customers with PayWay as an online payment option in the Odoo Website.

The integration allows businesses to:

• Accept online payments through PayWay.
• Configure PayWay credentials directly from the Odoo Payment Provider form.
• Configure the Shop ID and Secret Key required for the PayWay integration.
• Use Test Mode for testing the payment integration before enabling it for live payments.
• Make PayWay available as a payment method on the configured Odoo Website.
• Process the payment result and update the corresponding payment transaction in Odoo.
• Continue the related order and payment workflow based on the payment result.

PayWay is added as a payment provider in Odoo 16. The provider can be configured from the Payment Providers section and enabled for the required website.

The PayWay provider requires two main credentials:

• Shop ID – identifies the shop or merchant account configured with PayWay.
• Secret Key – the private key required for the PayWay payment integration.

These credentials are entered in the Credentials section of the PayWay Payment Provider configuration in Odoo.

The PayWay provider can be configured for the required Odoo Website. This allows PayWay to be available as a payment method during the website checkout.

The configured provider also includes a Currency field. In the implemented Odoo 16 configuration, the currency is set to EUR.

After PayWay is configured and enabled, customers can select PayWay during the Odoo Website checkout.

Odoo creates the payment transaction and initiates the PayWay payment flow. The customer completes the payment through PayWay, after which the payment result is returned to Odoo for further processing.

Once the payment result is received, Odoo processes the response and updates the corresponding payment transaction based on the result.

The related order then continues through the configured Odoo payment workflow according to the payment status.
