BioTime Server Configuration
A dedicated server configuration view within the Odoo Attendance module allows you to configure and authenticate the BioTime server connection.
- Test Connection - instantly validates API authentication between Odoo and the BioTime server.
- Get Today's Attendance - enables on-demand synchronization of the current day's BioTime attendance logs into Odoo with a single click.
Automated Attendance Synchronization
Biometric log data from ZKTeco terminals is automatically synchronized into the Odoo HR Attendance module at the end of each day via an automated scheduled action.
BioTime Transactions Log
Provides a dedicated BioTime Transactions menu within Odoo that logs every biometric event pulled from the BioTime server, serving as a comprehensive audit trail for check-in and check-out records. It lists individual punch events per employee along with exact punching times, verification methods (e.g., Face, Fingerprint, Card), and punch states. Users can easily filter and group the logs by employee, date, or verification type for streamlined reporting and data verification.
Direct Employee Upload
“Upload to BioTime” button in Odoo Employee form allows employee profile data to be pushed directly from Odoo to the BioTime database, eliminating the need for manual entry in the BioTime software. Additionally, multiple employee records can be uploaded to BioTime directly from the Odoo Employee list view.
