Which Odoo versions are supported?
Compatible with all Odoo versions. The latest three versions, Odoo 17, 18, and 19, have been tested and verified for both Community and Enterprise editions.
What device versions are required?
Android 5.0 (API level 21) and above, and iOS 12.0 and above.
Which Odoo module and permissions do I need?
It works with Odoo's invoicing, so the Invoicing / Accounting module should be configured and the logged-in user needs Invoicing permissions.
Can I create credit notes and record payments?
Yes. The app includes dedicated credit note workflows for returns and credits, and lets you record payments that synchronize with Odoo.
Can I generate and share PDF invoices?
Yes. It generates professional PDF invoices from Odoo reports, which you can share by email, WhatsApp, or other apps. Storage permission is needed for PDF generation and sharing.
Does it handle multiple currencies?
Yes. Multi-currency transactions are handled automatically.
Does it support two-factor authentication?
Yes. Login is session based with database selection and supports 2FA/TOTP, plus biometric access via fingerprint or Face ID.
Can I work across multiple companies or accounts?
Yes. You can switch between allowed companies and toggle between different user accounts, with access control synchronized to your Odoo user settings.
Does it work offline?
Not yet. The current release uses real time two-way sync with your Odoo server. Offline billing with auto-sync is on the published roadmap.
Is source code available?
Yes. Mobo Billing is fully open source under the Apache-2.0 license and available on GitHub.
Can I customize the app?
Yes. It is built with Flutter, so you can inspect, extend, or self-host the app to fit your business.
