Odoo.sh's backup server securely retains production database backups,
ensuring data can be restored when required. The import database
option facilitates uploading a database to the production
environment.
The server associated with your production build provides a list of
available backups, retaining them for one month and including 7
daily and 4 weekly backups. Backups are securely stored on dedicated
backup servers. For on-premise Odoo servers, you can retrieve them
by navigating to the /web/database/manager path.
Backups can be downloaded using the provided download button, and
there's also a restore button for recovery purposes. During the
download process, you must specify the reason and choose whether to
include the filestore. Note that selecting the filestore will
increase the size of the backup, as it contains all files and
attachments, though it's often not essential.
