The upper right corner of the site displays the options for the Kanban, List, Calendar, and Graphical view. The Kanban view in the example as mentioned above, displays the major window. Options like Draft, In Queue, Sending, and Sent are displayed on this page. You can access the sub-options Fold and Automation by selecting the Settings option next to each of these fields.

To provide total transparency, each SMS's Sender, Recipient, Date, and other pertinent details are shown in the Kanban view.

Click the New button on the left-hand side of the SMS Marketing dashboard to start a new SMS marketing campaign.

Certain information will need to be entered on the creation form. Give your SMS a title first, as this will act as the campaign's internal reference. Next, select the Recipient using the drop-down menu. Odoo cleverly let you choose specific recipients depending on context if you're not sending a bulk message.

The Mailing List to which the SMS should be delivered must then be specified. After determining your target audience, the SMS creation page will have three primary tabs: Settings, A/B Tests, and SMS Content.

You can write the exact message you want to send under the SMS Content tab. The main body of your SMS, such as an update, reminder, or promotional message, should be written in this part.

You can choose to enable the A/B testing capability by selecting the corresponding option on the A/B Tests tab. Throughout the campaign, recipients will only see one version of the message if the A/B Testing option is selected. This avoids duplicate messages and maintains a seamless user experience by guaranteeing that each recipient is exposed to a single variation. You may test the efficacy of several SMS content changes without overwhelming your audience because Odoo chooses recipients at random for each version.

You can set up more information about your SMS campaign on the Settings tab, which is the last one. Here, "Responsible" is a crucial field that lets you designate a specific user—usually someone in charge of administering or supervising the marketing efforts—to receive the campaign. The Include Opt-Out Link option can also be enabled. This gives receivers the option to unsubscribe from future communications by automatically including an opt-out link in the SMS content.

Once all the information required for your SMS campaign has been entered, click the Save icon to save the data. Other crucial actions, such as Send, Schedule, and Test, are located on the left-hand side of the page in addition to the save option. You can choose how and when to run your campaign with these options.

The campaign's several phases, including Draft, In Queue, Sending, and Sent, are displayed on the right side of the page. These phases give a clear status update when monitoring the development of your SMS campaign.

A confirmation screen will show up if you select the Send option, confirming that you are prepared to start the campaign.

Schedule is the next choice. You can choose the date you want the SMS to be sent on a new page that appears when you choose this option. With the help of this function, you can schedule your campaigns for the best possible delivery and prepare them in advance. As seen in the sample below, the page that displays when you select the Schedule option will ask you to select the preferred date for sending the SMS.

You can input the phone numbers you wish to send a test SMS to on the Test page. Before sending the message to your entire audience, you may use this function to see how it would appear to the receivers. To send the message to those numbers for testing, just choose the Send Test option after entering the test contact numbers.
