To effectively automate and manage recurring customer contracts in Odoo 18, a Subscription / Quotation template is essential. - Invoicing Journal: To record the subscription invoicing details, add an accounting journal. Make it blank to use the lowest sequence of sales.
- Online Signature & Payment: Enable both boxes to confirm the customer's subscription order.
- Quote calculator: Here, you can automatically compute the pricing for recurring services.
- Recurring Plan: Here, you can select a recurring plan from the list as Monthly, Yearly, or 6 Months.
- Last Forever: Helps to handle unsuccessful or abandoned quotations.

In the Lines tab, you can add products to the quotation by selecting Add a Product. In contrast, the Optional Products tab allows you to include additional items before confirming the subscription. If there are any specified terms & conditions for your subscription, you can add them under the Terms & Conditions options.

Here, you can see the newly created subscription template.

Then go to Subscription > Subscriptions, and select any of the created subscriptions from the list or create a new one. The newly created quotation template will be displayed under the Quotation Template option.
