Measures:
In the Odoo 19 ESG module, the Measures menu is used to define, track, and monitor key sustainability performance indicators related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects. Users can set targets, record actual results, and compare their performance against goals to assess progress. This stage is regarded as the second step in the ESG process. Here, you can see two sections: Environment with Carbon Analytics and Carbon Footprint options. Social with Sex Parity and Pay Gap options.
1.1 Carbon Analytics:
The Carbon Analytics in the Odoo 19 ESG module refers to the analysis and visualization of carbon emission data collected from each scope. The X-axis shows the year of the carbon emissions, and the Y-axis shows the amount of carbon emissions. The graph uses different colors to represent each emission scope. You can view the Carbon Analytics in Graph and Pivot views. You can use the Graph as a Bar chart, Line chart, Pie chart, Stacked chart, or as a Chart with Ascending or Descending Data.
Click on the Measures button to change the value of the graph, such as Amount, Emissions (kgCO2e), Quantity, tCO2e, Uncertainty(%), Uncertainty (kgCO2e), and Count.
1.2 Carbon Footprint:
The Carbon Footprint represents the total greenhouse gases emitted, both directly and indirectly, by a company’s operations. A more detailed explanation is provided in the previous section.
1.3 Sex Parity:
As mentioned above, Sex Parity refers to the equality between male and female employees in the workplace. It displays the ratio or percentage of male and female employees across all company departments. This enables companies to monitor their progress toward achieving gender equality. In the pie chart as shown below, blue color refers to the number of males, pink color refers to the number of females, and green color refers to none of them.
Click the Measures button to adjust the values displayed in the chart. By default, Sex Parity is in a Pie chart; you can change it into a Line chart, Bar chart, Stacked, Ascending, or Descending.
3.4 Pay Gap:
In Odoo 19 ESG, the Pay Gap indicates the disparity between the average salaries of male and female employees in the organization. In Pivot view, the Pay Gap helps analyze gender-based income inequality, enabling companies to ensure fair and equal pay practices. Click on the Measures button to add metrics such as Count, Wage, and Leadership Level.
