Scrap Orders
Scrap management is an integral part of manufacturing procedures. Scraps are considered as the damaged, removed, and expired product parts in the production process. You can easily create Scrap Orders in the Odoo Manufacturing module at any stage of the manufacturing process. In the Manufacturing module, after confirming the Manufacturing Order for a particular product, you will get the ‘Scrap’ option as shown in the image below.
By clicking on this option, you will be able to get a pop-up window to mention the Product that you want to add to the Scrap and Quantity of the Product.
You can click on the ‘Done’ button to confirm the Scrap Order.
In the Odoo Manufacturing module, you will get a platform exclusively to manage the Scrap Orders from the Operations menu. On this platform, you can see already created Scrap Orders in the module as shown below.
You will be able to get List, Kanban, Pivot, and Graphical views of the Scrap Orders on this platform. The List will show the Reference, Date, Product, Quantity, Unit of Measure, Company, and Status of the Scrap Order. To create a new Scrap Order, you are allowed to click on the ‘Create’ button.
In this window, you can specify the Product, Quantity, Source Document, and Company in the given fields. After completing all the given fields, you can save the Scrap Order by clicking the ‘Save’ button. In this window, you can see the ‘Validate’ option which will help you to validate the new Scrap Order.
