Views is the way in which how to display the models or objects to end user. There
are different type of views in Odoo such as tree, form, search, calendar, graph,
pivot, Kanban etc. Each view displays the data in different ways. Modules become
more user friendly by using different type of views and we can also vary the views
according to our need. The list view of objects is obtained by using ‘tree’ view,
for displaying a single object ‘Form’ view is used, in order to filter the objects
‘Search’ view is used, etc. Form view is used to display a single object, tree view
provides the list of objects, and Form view is used to filter the object. Kanban
view is a series of cards with key information highlighted. This Cards can be moved,
that is it can be moved by drag and drop the cards. etc.
