In Odoo 18 Sales, Product Tags play a crucial role in organizing and categorizing products for better management and accessibility. By using product tags, you can streamline searches, create filtered views, and improve overall efficiency in handling your product catalog.
To configure Product Tags, navigate to the Configuration menu in the Sales module and select the Product Tags option.
This will display a list of existing tags, which can be edited or deleted as required. To create a new tag, click the New button. In the creation window, you can specify the name of the tag, assign a color for easy identification, and save the tag for future use.
Mention the name of the product tag and activate the Visible on eCommerce field if you want to make it visible on eCommerce. Select a suitable color and add an image in the corresponding fields. Using the Add a Line option, you can add Product Templates.
Under the Product Variants tab, you can add variants of the product that belongs to this product tag.
Once created, these tags can be assigned to products. While creating or editing a product in the Sales module, you will find a field for Product Tags in the product form.
Under the Configuration menu, you will get the Tags field where you can generate tags for the sales operations.
Using the Add a Line button, you can add the Tag Name and suitable Color in the corresponding fields, as shown in the image above.
