Recording the time on each task
One of the key features available in the Odoo Project module is the time recording
on each task. This option will allow you to estimate the time spent by the respective
employee on the assigned task operation. For getting the benefits of this option,
first, you should enable the time management option available from the settings
menu of the project module. By enabling this option, you can define, view, and manage
the time operations on each task and the project of the respective employee. You
can view the Task Logs option under the Time Management tab of the Settings window.
If the Task Logs option is enabled, the platform will track time spent on projects
and task operations. Time management can be done by adding timesheets to your task
and project. If you are creating a task for your project, you have the option to
add time spent on your task. Initially, you can provide the time needed to complete
the task. In the Task description window, you can view the timesheet description
of each employee. The image of the window is shown below.
