Payment Methods
Odoo has enabled different payment methods for various business operations in the Point of Sale module for the smooth functioning of sale transactions. Configuration of other payment methods into the Odoo platform is an easy process now. You will get the Payment Methods option under the Configuration menu of the Point of Sale module.
The Payment Method platform will display all available payment methods configured in this platform. You can select any payment method to get details about the respective one and use the ‘Edit’ tool to make corrections on the available data. The list view of the payment methods can be also changed into the Kanban view.
Filters and Group By options are also available on this platform to ease your searching process for the required payment method. The preview of the list will show the Method, Journal, and Company details of the payment method. You can also enable an additional field called Identify Customer from the three dots available on the top right corner of the window.
To create a new payment method, you have to click on the ‘Create’ button given in the window.
In the new payment creation window, mention the Payment Method, Journal, and Company name in the given field. You can also enable the field to Identify Customers in this window. After completing all fields in the new creation window, you are allowed to click the ‘Save’ button to save the new Payment Method.
