Promotion Programs
By generating different promotional programs, a company can improve its sales. The company will get new customers and sales orders through attractive promotional programs. In the Odoo Point of Sale module, you can plan different promotion programs suitable for your sales marketing. Odoo will give access to the Promotion Programs platform from the Products menu of the Point of Sale module.
The menu will show all configured promotion programs in the module. You will be able to get the Name of the Promotion Program, Website, Active, and Company details from the preview of the list. The List view can be changed into the Kanban view also as per your preference. You will get a share option in the window which can be used to share the respective promotion program.
To create a new Promotion Program, select the ‘Create’ icon from the window.
In the new creation window, add the Program Name in the given field. You can set conditions Based on Customer and Based on Product. In the Quantity and Minimum Purchase fields, mention the minimum required product quantity and minimum required amount to get the reward. In Promo Code Usage. You can either select Automatically Applied or Use a Code. Specify the Company name in the given space. In the Validity tab, you can add the Website, Start Date, and End Date of the program. In the Apply on First field, you can mention the maximum number of sales orders in which the reward can be provided.
In the Reward tab, select the Applicability as Apply on Current Order or Send a Coupon. There are three types of rewards available, Discount, Free Product, and Free Shipping. If you have selected the Discount option, you will be able to get additional fields to mention the Discount Percentage and Maximum Discount Amount. In the Discount Apply On the field, you can decide where to apply the discount such as On Order, On Cheapest Product, or On Specific Products. If you have selected Free Product as a reward, then you will get an additional field to mention the Free Product.
You can save the new Promotion Program by clicking the ‘Save’ button. Now, let’s take a look at how to create new Coupon Programs in the Point of Sale module.
