Product Traceability
The Odoo platform recognizes the importance of the tracking and traceability needed
for the internal as well as the external operations of the company. So the platform
allows you to assign serial as well as lot numbers in the aspects of traceability
into the products being purchased in the platform. The serial number and the lot
number can be defined based on the custom-made description and the Odoo platform
enables to automate the operations. For enabling these options, you can go to the
settings window of the inventory module.
You can use the serial and lot number in the platform after enabling the Lots &
Serial Numbers option available under the Traceability tab of the Odoo inventory
module settings.
