Icon is one of the most important factors to consider when developing an application. An icon represents what the application is about. It should be related to the module, and it should be understandable. In Odoo Studio, it is easy to design an icon for your application. Here's how to create an icon for a new module. First, click on the studio icon and then click on ‘New App’ to create a new application.
Then, click on the ‘Next’ button, as shown below.
Then a new window will open, as shown in the screenshot below.
Here you can provide the application name and design for your icon. It is also possible to upload an icon from your system using the ‘upload it’ button.
By clicking on the first box, as shown in the image above, you can choose the background color for the icon.
By clicking on the second box, as shown in the image above, you can define the color for the symbol that you chose.
On clicking the third box, as depicted in the above picture, you can select a symbol for your icon.
That's how you can design your icon. This will show your application with the newly designed icon.
You can also make changes to the design of the existing icon by clicking the 'edit' symbol available at the top right of the icon while hovering the cursor over it.
