Consignment
Consignment is the process of offering a third party some products and services for
selling. The consignor here will store the product and sell it to the customer. The
consignment will allow you to set owners for the stored products just like we do in
retail outlets. Online stores and e-Commerce are working under this principle.
In the Settings menu of the module, you can activate the Consignment option from the
Traceability tab.
Now, you can set an owner for the product as a consignee while generating the receipt.
You can add the consignor in the Assign Owner field and Validate the receipt.
