44. Predict Vendor Bill Products
The Predict Vendor Bill Products feature in Odoo 18 is designed to
simplify and streamline the vendor billing process. This feature
allows the system to intelligently suggest products on vendor bill
lines by analyzing the label entered in the line. When a user inputs
a label without specifying a product, Odoo will automatically
attempt to identify and fill in the most appropriate product based
on past billing data. This predictive functionality helps streamline
the data entry process, improve accuracy, and save time by reducing
the need for manual product selection on recurring vendor bills.
To activate this feature, users can navigate to the Vendor Bills tab
within the Settings menu of the Accounting module and enable the
Predict Vendor Bill Product option.
If you enter a label in the vendor bill line without specifying a
product, Odoo will auto-complete the Product field with a suggestion
that closely matches the label.
