1. Overview Menu
Manufacturing entails sourcing high-quality raw materials,
configuring workstations, overseeing product flow, and implementing
quality control measures. Within Odoo, a Manufacturing Order (MO) is
generated to initiate production based on specific product
configurations. MOs can be created through two primary approaches:
by focusing on different production stages or by customizing work
centers to configure specific operations. These processes play a
pivotal role in ensuring the final product's quality. Upon accessing
the manufacturing module, users are presented with a dashboard
displaying existing production orders.
The dashboard provides key pre-configured details such as reference
numbers, start dates, product names, next activities, sources,
component availability, quantities, units of measure (UoM), company
information, and order statuses. Users can access this information
through multiple views, including Kanban, List, Calendar, Activity,
and Pivot, thereby facilitating improved reporting and analysis.
Additionally, advanced search filters enable users to sort
manufacturing orders based on status (e.g., draft, confirmed, in
progress, or completed), product type, scheduling date, material
availability, and other relevant criteria./p>
