9. Multiple Companies
The Odoo 18 platform offers exceptional support for managing multiple
businesses within the ERP system. The Website module expands this
capability by allowing you to construct and administer several
websites from a single database. These websites can be used for
different departments within the same company or for entirely
separate businesses.
With the ability to edit and update website content seamlessly, you
can easily switch between company websites. This feature also
enhances data security by restricting access to company-specific
information—each corporate editor can only manage the pages
belonging to their respective company.
To navigate between companies, use the Company Icon located in the
upper-right corner of the window. Clicking on this icon opens a
drop-down menu displaying all configured companies, allowing you to
switch between them effortlessly.
