Account Ledger
A ledger is an account or record that manages bookkeeping entries for transactions on the income statement and balance sheet, such as opening and closing balances in credit or debit. Detailed transaction data and bookkeeping entries, including bank or cash transactions, stock value, customer billing, vendor invoice records, payroll expenses, and many more, are included in this type of book or digital record. All of the information required to produce financial statements is provided by the ledgers.
Each transaction includes a reference number that will assist them in comprehending the rationale and procedures needed to complete that specific transaction.
