Journal Items
The Journal Items option in the Review menu of Odoo 19 Accounting allows users to examine each accounting entry in detail. Every transaction recorded in the system generates journal items that represent the individual debit and credit lines of a journal entry. By accessing this menu, accountants can review these entries separately and verify the accuracy of financial records.
Within the Journal Items view, important details such as the date of the transaction, journal entry reference, partner, label or description, and the corresponding debit and credit accounts are displayed. This detailed breakdown helps users track how each transaction has been recorded in the accounting system.
Additionally, the Matching feature can be used to reconcile entries. This allows accountants to match related transactions, such a main accurate and consistent.
