Some Features in the CRM Settings Menu

Multi Teams

This feature allows you to assign salespersons to multiple sales teams. Activate ‘Multi Teams,’ as shown below.

Now, you can employ a salesperson to facilitate more than one team in the Sales Teams menu. For example, let us create a new Sales Team and add two salespersons to administrate it.

Since ‘Multi Teams’ is enabled, you can add these salespersons to any team.

Rule-Based Assignment

Rule-Based Assignment allows you to periodically allocate leads to salespersons based on specific rules. Enable this option in the Settings menu, as shown below.

The dropdown list of ‘Running’ has two options – Manually and Repeatedly. The former allows you to assign leads using an action button from the Sales Teams form view. If you select ‘Repeatedly,’ you can set the interval between consecutive cron runs.

Here, the gap is set as ‘1 Day.’ The system assigns the next day until the cron run.

You can see a new section called ‘Assignment Rules’ in the form view of Sales Teams.

Click on ‘Edit Domain’ to set rules for the assignment. You will get a pop-up window, as shown below.

You can apply your condition in this window. Here, the rule used is ‘Country contains US.’ This filter will assign leads from the US to this sales team.

Odoo also allows you to allocate a specific domain for each salesperson. You can specify it in the pop-up window that appears when you click ‘Add’ under the Members tab.

Click on ‘Add Filter’ to apply filters to the domain. This way, each member of the same team may get different leads according to the domain set.

Click on the Assign Leads button to allocate leads to the team.

Predictive Lead Scoring

The fundamental function of this feature is to assist lead management by calibrating the statistical probability of closing a lead. The criteria – email quality, stages, phone quality, etc. – determine the score for each lead.

When you click on ‘Update Probabilities,’ you will get a pop-up window where you can add various criteria for calibration other than the default ones.

After adjusting the date, click on ‘Confirm.’ Now, you will be able to view
