Mailing List

The Mailing List option in Odoo provides assistance in making a list of contacts for sending SMS in large quantities. In the Mailing list window, you will get an already configured list of contacts for the purpose of marketing a program.

On this page, you are provided with the total number of contacts in every mailing list. To make a new list of contacts, go to the Create button. There a window appears, as shown below.

Give an appropriate name for the Mailing list. On triggering the Show in Preference option, the mailing list will be displayed according to its preference. For making contacts for this Mailing list, you have an option under the Mailing List Tab. That is the Mailing List Contact option, which gives the list of created contacts.

The details include the date on which it is created, Name, Name of the Company, Email, phone, and Number of Bounces, respectively. On triggering the Email and Phone Blacklisted option, the contact will not receive a large amount of mailing and mailing SMS. for making a new Contact for the Mailing list, then go for the Create button where a window appears, as shown below.

The Name, Email, Mobile, Title, Name of the Company, and Country of the contact have to be given in the allotted spaces. Under the Mailing List, using the Add a Line, you can include a new mailing list to which the contact has to be added. Finally, go for the Save button.
