Recruitment Module

Introduction

Under the Odoo ERP Software, you will get modules that help you in managing recruitment, attendance, employee profile, payroll, and many more with the help of human resources. The recruitment process is the first step in the human resource. With the help of the module of recruitment, you can manage the vacant job positions in the company, provide job openings, manage new applicants, and manage the hiring process. The procedures in the module should be managed with extreme care as only skillful and talented should be selected for the purpose, as it decides the growth of the company.

On the main page of the module, you will get the vacant job position, as shown in the screenshot below.

On the page, you will get the details, as shown in the image. The apge can be seen in the list view as well, other than the Kanban view. The filters, group by, and favorites options if required. On each published job position, you will t the new applications option. On selecting the new application option, you will get the page, as shown in the screenshot below.

On this page, you can find different stages for particular applicants in order to complete the process of requirement. various stages include initial qualification, first interview, second interview, contract proposal, and contract signed respectively a new stage can be added using the + icon provided on the page. You can make use of filters, group by, and favorites, respectively. Selecting the settings icon provided in every stage can be used for getting the sub-options such as fold, edit stage, delete, archive all, and unarchive all, respectively.

The fold option can be used to fold the stage in Kanban view. The edit stage option helps to edit the stage that is already created. On selecting the edit stage option, you will get a page, as shown in the screenshot below.

On the new page, you can make changes to the stage name. You can provide the email template in the provided space as well. The option of folding in Kanban and hired stage can be triggered where the hire stage option helps you to decide the hire date of a particular applicant. The stage can be made job specific by using the option of job specific. Now under the tooltips tab, you can set it as in progress blocked or ready for the next stage accordingly. Now on activating developer mode also, you will get the stages menu in the configuration menu, which also helps you to make and edit new stages.

Now, you are also provided with three dots at every stage, which helps you in providing some options, such as view, new, and reporting. In the view option, you have applications, interviews, activities, and trackers. In the new option, you have got the application option, and in the reporting, you have git the analysis options as well. You can also get the configuration and archive options, as shown in the image be; low.

Now, on selecting the NEW icon on the page, you can create a new job opening.

On the page, you can add the job position in the allotted space and then go to the CREATE icon in order to get it creed. The option can also be added from getting the option from the configuration menu, which provides some options, such as settings, job position, applications, employee, and activity. On selecting the job position option from the configuration menu, you will get the space, as shown in the screenshot below.

On the page, you will get the list of already created job positions. The details provided on the page include job positions, departments, applications, targets, and published, respectively. You can make use of the filters group by and favorites options, respectively. In order to create a similar kind of job position, make use of the new icon. The creation page will be as shown in the screenshot below.

On the page, you have to add the name of the job position at the very beginning. Below that, you are provided with recruitment and job summary tabs. Under the recruitment tab, you have to add the department, job location, employment type, name of the company, number of targets, the published option to activate, recruiter, details of interviewers, and interview form, respectively. Now you can add the process details, which include time to answer, process, and days to get an offer option. Now under the job summary tab, you can add a short description of the job. When you are done providing all the required details, you can go to the save icon in order to get the newly created job position added to the existing list of job positions. Now you can get the website view using the go-to website option provided on the leftmost side of the page.

On the website page, you can see the Apply Now option, which helps you to apply for the job. On selecting the option of applying now, you will get the page, as shown in the screenshot below.

In this provided job application form., you can add the name, email, phone number, linked-in profile, resume of the applicant, and a short introduction, respectively. Now, you can save the provided details using the submit option. On doing so, the application will be successfully submitted for the particular job. The applications can be easily found under the applications menu of the recruitment module.

On the page, you can see different applications, as shown in the screenshot above. The details provided on the page include the name of the applicant, applied job, subject, stage, evaluation, mobile, related tags, and recruiter. You can make use of the filters, group by, and favorite options accordingly. In order to make a similar kind of application, you can go to the NEW option provided on the right-most side of the page. The page can be viewed in list, pivot, graphical, and activity other than Kanban. On selecting a particular application from the provided list, you can have a detailed view of the application.

Here, you will get the option of creating an employee in order to make a new application be added. The send interview option can be sued to send the recruitment form to the respective applicant. If the application is not suited for the job, then you can go to the Refuse button provided at the top of the page. On selecting the option of refuse, you will get the page, as shown in the screenshot below.

On the provided page, you can add the reason for the refusal in the allotted space. And then, go to the refuse icon. Now., let us look at how to add a new application using the NEW icon. The creation page will be as shown in the screenshot below.

On the page, you can add the name of the application, email, phone, mobile, LinkedIn profile, and degree. In the interviewer's option, you can add the recruiter, evaluation, source, medium, and related tags. In the job tab, you can add the applied job and department. In the contracts tab, the expected salary, proposed salary, and availability can be added. Under the application summary, you can add the summary of the application. Near that, the skills can also be added. Finally, go to the save icon in order to get the newly created one added to the existing list of applications.
