Access Control Lists
An application or software solution performs noticeably better when permission and security are included, especially when used as management tools. Because they are aware of these factors, the Access Control Lists settings menu is now included in the Odoo 19 Studio module. The different Access Control features of the procedure and the applications under development will be specified via this menu.
This section will list the Name, Model, Group, and several Access Categories, including Read Access, Write Access, Create Access, and Delete Access, which can be enabled or disabled using the check box, in addition to the predefined Access Controls. A search capability is also added to assist with the various searching requirements of Access Control. Additionally, the Group By and Filtering capabilities will improve their operational advantage by categorizing the jobs based on requirements.
The creation window can be opened by choosing the New option if you wish to create a new Access Control, as seen in the screenshot below. Here are the group's name and any access controls that may be used to define its activities. The Model Control should then be explained. You must enable the Active option in order to run and activate Access Control.
Furthermore, depending on the requirements, access details like Read Access, Write Access, Create Access, and Delete Access can be turned on or off. Additionally, whenever necessary, the designer can modify and adjust the proper proportion of the Access Control.
