A company generally appoints sales teams to manage the sales-related activities of its products/ services. Click on ‘Sales Teams’ from the Configuration menu to monitor this feature.
You can see all the sales teams ready to be assigned to various activities here. Click on the individual records to edit them. The Create button allows you to configure new sales teams to this list.
Add the name of the team in the Sales Team field. Under this part, you can see three boxes – Quotations, Pipeline, and Leads. Activate ‘Quotations’ if you prefer to send quotations to customers than directly confirming sales orders. Add the details like Team Leader, Email Alias,
Company, and Invoicing Target. In the dropdown list of ‘Accept Emails From,’ choose from the options – Everyone, Authenticated Partners, Followers Only, and Authenticated Employees.
Click on ‘Add’ under the Members tab to add new salespersons to the team.
The pop-up window shows the list of all the salespersons available on this platform. You can add new members using the Create button.
Specify the details like Name, Email Address, Company, Phone, and Mobile. Activate the Create Employee option to generate an employee. After adding this info, click on ‘Save and Close’ or ‘Save and New.’
Select ‘Teams’ from the Sales menu’s dropdown list to get the dashboard of sales teams. Here, you can closely monitor the dynamics of the sales team pipeline.
The window shows a comprehensive preview of sales-related details like the number of Opportunities, Quotations, Orders to Invoice, and Leads. A precise graphical representation of new opportunities over specified periods can be seen under each section. Click on the button with three dots on the top right corner of each preview to reveal the categories like New, View, and Reporting.
Click on any title to review its content or make any changes.
Click on ‘Pipeline’ to go to the Pipeline widow of that particular group. You can also operate with individual sections like ‘Open Opportunities,’ ‘Quotations,’ etc., by simply clicking on them. Besides, the Odoo 16 CRM has provisions for creating opportunities and quotations directly from these separate windows.
