Putaway Rules
Putaway Rules ensure that the business keeps its inventory in the proper locations. Choosing the best storage site for a product is essential since its physical and/or chemical makeup dictates how it should be stored. This functionality will prevent products from being incorrectly stored in your inventory. You can move products from the receiving locations to the most suitable spot inside the warehouse by using the putaway rules.
Navigate to Configuration → Putaway Rules to use this functionality.
This window includes the fields When Product Arrives in, Product, Product Category, Package Type, Store to Sublocation, Having Category, and Company in addition to the list of putaway rules added to the module.
When the product reaches the location stated in the "When Product Arrives in" field, the system will relocate it to the one indicated in "Store to Sublocation." To add a new putaway rule to the current records set, click the New button. Below the final line of the preview, you will see a domain where you may input the relevant information.
When you establish storage locations in this module, Putaway Rules come in helpful.
