Open Shifts
In some cases, the employee who was assigned to complete the work might not complete it due to technical or personal reasons. Whatever the case might be, the completion of work is important in order to achieve the target. In such cases, Odoo allows you to convert such schedules into Open Shifts.
When the employee responsible for taking the shift couldn't finish the task on time, any other employee can jump into the shift and finish the activity. Such shifts are known as Open Shifts.
If you want to allow the employees to unassign themselves from the assigned schedules, you can enable the Allow Unassignment option from the Settings option. Enabling this option will allow the employees to unassign themselves from the shifts.
